Maggie Ledwidge
Director, Case Manager & Trainer
Maggie founded Take2Life drawing on over 30 years' experience across health and social care, including more than a decade as a Case Manager working with adults and children who have sustained acquired brain injury, spinal injury or other complex conditions. A qualified nurse and health visitor since the 1970s, she combines deep clinical grounding with a track record of building and running services from the ground up — from managing an award-winning neurorehabilitation care home to leading transformational change programmes within the NHS, including a nationally recognised patient-centred care initiative.
As a qualified coach, Maggie also provides life coaching for individuals and families navigating life after injury, and trains managers and staff across the sector. She is a registered case manager with the Institute of Registered Case Managers (IRCM) and sits on IRCM steering groups and the vestibular interdisciplinary working group (VIWG).

Debbie Lindley
Senior Case Manager
Debbie has known and worked with Maggie for more than 10 years. She works as a Case Manager and Occupational Therapist based in north London with advanced level clinical skills. Debbie’s Masters Degree Level of training, and 30 years of work with clients, families, legal teams, insurers and healthcare professionals have equipped her to be highly knowledgeable and effective in her role.
Debbie delights in solving problems creatively and finding bespoke solutions that suit each unique person and their situation. She excels when creating and co-ordinating a team to address complex issues related to brain injury and orthopaedic injuries. She is keen to help those that have been injured and their families to make adjustments and take on board solutions so that they can thrive in themselves as individuals, as part of a family/ friendship group and in their studies, work and leisure time.

Deborah is registered with the Institute of Registered Case Managers (IRCM), the Health Professions Council (HPC), and is a member of British Association of Brain Injury & Complex Case Management (BABICM), the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT), and the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK)
Chris Smith
Case Manager
Chris has worked as a physiotherapist across health, education and charity sectors for over 20 years, managing both children and adults with catastrophic injury, including birth-related injuries, acquired brain injury, spinal injuries and other complex physical conditions. Since 2022, Chris has also worked in Case Management alongside physiotherapy, taking on a caseload of complex paediatric and adult clients following catastrophic injury.
From NHS beginnings in paediatrics and intensive care, Chris went on to found his own independent physiotherapy clinic, later becoming Director of Clinical Services for a national disability charity, where he built an integrated therapy service spanning physiotherapy, occupational therapy and conductive education. He continues to hold a small clinical caseload alongside his case management work, keeping his practice current and hands-on, and has particular expertise in neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injury and coordinating multidisciplinary teams around clients and their families.

Lawrence Charles
Administrator
After attending college, Lawrence started his career in Estate Agency working across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Since COVID, Lawrence has worked with a Turnkey Healthcare provider supporting hospitals across sub-saharan Africa with new equipment funded by governments across Europe.
His medical background and enthusiasm led him to work with Take2Life. Lawrence's day to day responsibilities with Take2Life include administrative tasks and the organising of the training courses.
