Maggie Ledwidge

Director, Case Manager & Trainer

Maggie established Take2Life in order to provide a team of people who share her passion in meeting the needs of those who have been involved in a catastrophic life event. She is committed to facilitating the introduction of the right care, right therapy and right medical interventions, in the right place, at the right time. All of her work is focused on maximising recovery and independence for people that she works with. Her diversity of experience across health and social care results in her having a holistic approach when devising and implementing rehabilitation programmes. Maggie is keen for the ethos of the Take2Life team to be always learning, using self-reflexion and the skills of the team to add diversity to their holistic approach. Gaining feedback from individuals, clients and other professionals to improve skills and services. “I feel it is important for everyone to be treated as an induvial so they can live how they want and to have quality in their lives. I enjoy developing individuals and supporting others to keep an open mind when exploring solutions to issues or problems.”

Debbie Lindley

Senior Case Manager

Debbie has known and worked with Maggie for more than 10 years. She works as a Case Manager and Occupational Therapist based in north London with advanced level clinical skills. Debbie’s Masters Degree Level of training, and 30 years of work with clients, families, legal teams, insurers and healthcare professionals have equipped her to be highly knowledgeable and effective in her role. Debbie delights in solving problems creatively and finding bespoke solutions that suit each unique person and their situation. She excels when creating and co-ordinating a team to address complex issues related to brain injury and orthopaedic injuries. She is keen to help those that have been injured and their families to make adjustments and take on board solutions so that they can thrive in themselves as individuals, as part of a family/ friendship group and in their studies, work and leisure time. “I am known for being the person who treats my work role with the same diligence and dedication as I do tasks with and for my own family. I am proud to be part of a team that help others achieve successful and positive life changes.”

Steph Hopes

Case Manager & Trainer

Steph has worked across the health service in various clinical and managerial roles; she met Maggie while she was a Practice Manager for a multi-sited general practice. Starting as a Health Care Assistant, she qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1993. She has had a varied and challenging career, across many services and specialities, including Cancer Services and a Primary Care Trust’s Clinical Lead for the National Project for IT and a trainer. She has always been passionate about improving health care services and getting the best for the patients/clients. She brings her varied expertise and support her role with a good combination of clinical, managerial and IT/Project Management skills. She excels in being organised and in her determination to complete tasks. “I’ve been fortunate with a successful and varied career in health, both in the NHS and Cyprus, as clinician, trainer and manager. My love has always been nursing and putting the patient at the heart of all I have done.”

Alice Beal

Nurse Trainer

Alice is a registered paediatric nurse with a wealth of experience in providing nursing care for complex care packages in the community. Since qualifying in 2020, she has established a wide variety of nursing skills and trained many healthcare workers. Alice joined Take2Life to share her passion for evidence based and holistic care to children and young people living with complex care. She is determined to ensure your care staff are competent, confident and versatile in their roles. “Complex care and community care is such a privilege to work within. I’m excited to share my passion and help enable care staff to feel confident and empowered to provide support which meets the needs of the individual Client’s they work with."

Claudia Posso

Physiotherapist Trainer

Claudia has more than twenty years’ experience in general physiotherapy, both in the United Kingdom and in her native home of Colombia. She specialises in respiratory and cardiorespiratory paediatric physiotherapy. Claudia moved into the community to co-manage the children’s respiratory physiotherapy services and was awarded the Hero of the Month award in 2021. Claudia now provides training in chest physiotherapy techniques such as suctioning (nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal or via artificial airways and tracheostomy care). She will work practically with support staff and other professionals to ensure their competencies in the care they provide. Her aim is to stabilise children’s respiratory care and introduce new techniques, so hospital admissions are avoided. “I am passionate about supporting children and young people with complex needs to be able to have their respiratory physiotherapy in the community by setting up bespoke respiratory management plans and upskilling those who care for them.”

Sara Creed

Administrator

Before finishing secondary school, Sara was fortunate enough to secure a position with an airline as cabin crew. Here she spent seventeen years with the business and held several positions, each providing new experiences and development opportunities. One position was within the HR & Payroll department, which steered Sara in a new career direction, and she now provides administrative and PA support to business owners. Sara's day to day responsibilities with Take2Life include administrative tasks and the organising of the training courses. "I am proud to be working alongside the team at Take2Life where everyone strives to provide an invaluable service to each of their Clients."
